Joyce Ann Raivel

Joyce Ann Raivel, 60, of New Freedom passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at her home. She was the loving wife of Ralph J. Raivel. Born in Baltimore, she was a daughter of Bruce Wagner and the late Carole (McClanahan) Wagner. Joyce worked as a department manager for Wal-Mart and loved camping and going to the beach with her girlfriends. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her two sons Zachary Raivel and his wife Kate and Joshua Raivel and his fiancée Nicole; two grandchildren Scarlett and Odin; one sister Lynn, wife of Edward McGarity; step-mother Cathy Wagner; step-brother Shawn Hauver; step-sister Erica Hauver and her husband Richard Reeves; numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins. Joyce is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Michael Raivel and wife Cindi, George Raivel and wife Melissa, Tommy Wheeler and wife Lisa, Ronnie Amos and wife Gwen, Terry Turnbaugh and wife Kim and Dawn Miller. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Bobby Miller. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 4PM from Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. Interment will be held at the convenience of her family. Viewings will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 3-5PM and 7-9PM at the funeral home.
