Katherine P. Criswell

Katherine Procter Criswell passed away on December 21, 2023 at UM St. Joseph’s Hospital in Towson, Maryland at the age of 71. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 26, 1952 to Harriett and Nicholas VanSant, Kathy was educated in local schools graduating from The Hannah More Academy. She furthered her education at Queen’s College in Charlotte, North Carolina where she earned her Bachelor’s degree.

Kathy worked in office management at both Dun and Bradstreet and later at AAI in Cockeysville where she met her late husband, William Criswell. Devoted to her pet cats, Kathy enjoyed travel and socializing with close friends. She gathered a collection of miniature sculptures and an array of paintings and decorative objects.

Kathy is survived by her sister, MaryPat VanSant and her brothers, Craig Garrett VanSant and Nicholas Procter VanSant. She also leaves behind her three, dear step-children and beloved nieces and nephews.
