L. Nena Brown

L. Nena Brown, 80, of York, PA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 30, 2023. Born in Fargo, North Dakota; she was the daughter of the late Lawerence and Laura (Forsythe) Brown. Nena was retired from construction and worked part-time for Career Link. She is survived by her daughter Clara Mae Neenan, a sister Norma Orsie, companion Joe Racek, three grandsons Lawerence, Patrick, and Josiah Neenan, one great granddaughter Maddison Jeannette Neenan, four nephews Matthew, Kevin, Pat, and Paul Orsie, several great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by one sister Beverly J. Orsie, two brother in laws Ken and Andrew Orsie, one nephew Larry Orsie. Nena loved cooking, sewing, reading, roller skating, drawing and collecting antiques. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service at New Freedom Cemetery on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 12:00p.m. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc.; 24 N.
