Lamarr Francis Grove

Rev. LaMarr Francis “Sonny” Grove, 90, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021. He was the loving husband of the late Juanita Ann (Downs) Grove who died in April 2010. Born in Felton, he was the son of the late Clayton Samuel Grove, Sr. and Priscilla Margaret (Deller) Grove. He was a prayer warrior with a unique gifting in the areas of drawing and speaking with people. His ministry of service to the Lord will impact those he knew for generations to come. He had no strangers only friends. He was proud of his family and loved his children,grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.He was an avid hunter in his younger days. He made people laugh and told funny jokes. Surviving are two children, Forrest D. Grove and his wife, Donna, and Bonita D. Paronish and her husband, Greg, all of Felton; 5 grandchildren, Jericha, Jordan, Josiah, Gabriel, and Brandon; 6 great grandchildren, Jewel, Brentley, Cody, Beckett, Kinslie, and Micah; and three sisters, Gloria Fanucci, Nedra Grove, and Dawn Overmiller. Rev. Grove was preceded in death by siblings, Clayton Grove Jr., Charmaine Seitz, and Marcellus A. Grove. There will be a Life Celebration service on Friday, August 6, at 10 a.m.at the Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Road, Red Lion, PA 17356.
