Laurence A. Boardman

On October 16, 2023, Laurence A. Boardman of Shrewsbury, PA passed away peacefully at his home. The much beloved husband of Barbara E. Boardman for 61 years, he is also survived by his cherished children, Patricia A. Siebert, Cynthia J. (Colleen) Brady, and Robert E. (Mylene) Boardman.

Also survived by grandchildren Michele (Ryan) Morrison, Scott Siebert, Christopher Boardman, and Jackie and June Deberardinis; and great-grandchildren Ben McWilliams, Elsie Kohler, and Jack Kohler.

He could often be seen with his loyal companion, Pepper, on their daily walks.

Larry loved traveling and focused on our western National Parks. He was never able to name a favorite because each park has its own special charm.

He had an insatiable passion for knowledge which led him to collecting and reading thousands of books on a wide variety of topics.

Larry was proud to have served in the United States Marine Corps and was a graduate of Towson University.

After cremation a private remembrance will be held for family and close friends.  In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in his name to Paul Smith Library,  Shrewsbury, PA.
