Lee Ann Coburn (Radabaugh)

November 12, 1956 — December 8, 2016

Lee Ann Radabaugh Coburn, long-time resident of Felton, Pennsylvania, recently and blissfully celebrated her 60th birthday and had hoped to beat her cancer recurrence. On the afternoon of Thursday, December 8, 2016, in transit to Harrisburg Hospital, she departed this world for one greater and better. Lee Ann was born November 12, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Norman Lee and Janet Lucille Griffin Radabaugh; she was the sister of James Radabaugh, each of whom passed into the light before she. Lee Ann spent most of her adult life working for Baltimore County, MD. Following her retirement in 2010 she completed her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Harrisburg Area Community College to become a registered nurse. Lee Ann had always wanted to work in the medical profession, and for a short time was able to provide care and love to the residents of the SpiriTrust Lutheran Home. Lee Ann enjoyed socializing with friends and family, reading, and traveling. She was an excellent cook, baker, and seamstress and used those skills for the benefit of others. Lee Ann collected tea pots and there was always a pot of tea to be made when visitors came. Lee Ann is survived by her three children Erin Rachael Coffron of Front Royal, Virginia, Melissa Jean Coburn of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania, and Joshua Keith Coburn of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania, as well as her six grandchildren David Robert, John Michael, Katherine Melissa, Patrick Andrew, Michael James, and Emily Rachael, of Front Royal, Virginia. Much of Lee Ann’s identity was that of mother and Oma; her children and grandchildren brought much joy to her life. A private memorial celebration will be held after Christmas; contact family members for details. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Penn State Cancer Institute of Hershey Medical Center by locating the ‘ways to give’ link under ‘community outreach’ at http://www.pennstatehershey.org/community or by calling 717-531-8497.
