Leonard Alphonse Marchineck

Leonard Alphonse Marchineck, 83, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was the loving husband of Beverley (Harman) Marchineck. Born in Coal Twp., Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Alphonse John and Cecelia Marie (Wilk) Marchineck. Leonard owned an electrical contracting business. He was a proud member of the IBEW Local 24, retiring in 2012.

Surviving in addition to his wife are five children, Linda, David husband of Denise, Eileen wife of James, Brian husband of Sandy, and Sharon wife of Buzz; ten grandchildren; three siblings, Barbara wife of Frank, Elaine and her late husband Joe, and Robert and his wife Cheryl; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, George.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a viewing on Wednesday, January 10, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. 2nd St., New Freedom, PA 17349.
