Lieselotte L. "Lilo" Klinka, 81, passed away November 22, 2015 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dolph J. Klinka. A viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. The Funeral Service will follow at 6 p.m. at the Mortuary with the Rev. David S. Vatral officiating. Burial will be private. Lieselotte was born September 18, 1934 in Konigsberg, E. Prussia, daughter of the late Werner Bahr and Anna (Christian) Olah. Lilo retired from Boscov's in York, December 2014 after 22 years of service. She attended the Trail Church of the Nazarene in New Freedom and enjoyed volunteering in the community with the annual carnivals in Shrewsbury and New Freedom. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Co. She is survived by daughter, Cheryl A. Yost and her late husband, H. William of York; son, Peter J. Klinka and his wife, Cheri of York; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 sons, D. Richard Klinka and Robert C. Klinka.
