Lillian L. Dubbs

Lillian L. Dubbs, 75, died Sunday, April 17, 2016, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Dubbs. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the Mortuary, officiated by Pastor Richard L. Dubbs, Jr. Interment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York. Mrs. Dubbs was born January 22, 1941, in York, a daughter of the late Russell H. and Evelyn Seigman. Lillian retired in 2007 from Joseph A. Banks in Hampstead, Md. after 15 years of service. She possessed a great love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she enjoyed times with her sisters. In earlier years, Lillian enjoyed cooking for her large family and will always be remembered for her fasnachts. Lillian is survived by two sons, Pastor Richard L. Dubbs, Jr., and his wife Belinda of Lebanon, Dennis A. Dubbs and his fiancée, Lyn Herb-Conway of Shiloh; three daughters, Tammy S. Wilson and her husband William of Casset, S.C., Carol A. Wilson and her fiance Ray Ritter of York, and Genia N. Pierce of York Haven; one brother, Murray Seigman; four sisters, Darlene Wright, Beverly Michael, Creta Nafe and Micleta Dietrich; 11 grandchildren; and six great-granchildren.
