Linda D. Stremmel

Linda D. Stremmel, 71, of Shrewsbury passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at her home. She was the loving wife of Donald L. Stremmel to whom she was married 49 years. Born in York, she was the daughter of the late Rob Shambaugh and Ila (Fullen) Watkins. Linda worked as a medical secretary. Linda was a woman of great faith and shared that faith with everyone around her. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren immensely. She loved baking, crocheting, reading and spending time with her family. Linda poured herself into many areas of her church, the closest to her heart being the library she started there. Linda was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family, many friends and church family. Surviving in addition to her husband Donald, are two children Christina, wife of Corwin Miller and Michael Stremmel and wife Wendy; four grandchildren Delaney and Riley Stremmel and Tyler and Derek Miller; one brother Mark Watkins and step-father Phil Watkins. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11:00 am from Pleasant View Church, 10384 Winterstown Road, Red Lion, PA 17356 with Rev. Jay R. McWilliams officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant View Church at the above listed address.
