Lola Fern Kreft (Nee) Darney

On July 21st 2023 Lola, age 98, died peacefully at her home located at SpiriTrust Lutheran Village in Shrewsbury, PA, where she lived for 17 years. She made many friends while there and was lovingly cared for by the staff and nurses. Lola (Lollie) was born in Baltimore, MD and made her home there before relocating to PA. She was a loving sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Predeceased by her husband Andrew J. Kreft (Andy), sisters; Leona (Lee) Strain, Irma Conjour, brothers; Edward (Ed), Wallace (Jerry) and Charles (Bo) O. Darney Jr. and her granddaughter, Grace Erline. She is survived by her children and son and daughters-in law, Timothy (Tim) A. Kreft (Fran Kolego), Margaret M. (Peg) Anft, Kathleen G. (Kathy) Kreft (Rick Erline), Steven M. Kreft (Steve) (Chris Dietz) and eight grandchildren, four great-grand children, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her celebration of life service and luncheon will be held on Tuesday August 8th at 11:00am at St. John Lutheran Church located at 175 E Main St, New Freedom, PA 17349
