Loretta Mary Pfeffer

Loretta “Rett” Mary Pfeffer, 71, of New Freedom, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024. Born in Killeen, TX she was the daughter to the late John Walshe and Margaret (Breen). Loretta was the loving wife to Clifford Pfeffer for 50 years.

Loretta had proud Irish heritage and was of the first generation American in her family line. She was an award-winning competitive Irish dancer and was very involved with the local YMCA. She enjoyed walking, reading, cooking and laughing with friends. Loretta loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband, Clifford, Loretta is survived by 2 children, Erin (Britton) Flynn and Kyle (Lynn) Pfeffer; 2 grandchildren, Tripp Flynn, and Charlotte Flynn; and her siblings, Mary Harriman, Chris Benson, and Kathleen Balis. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A public viewing with be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 2-4pm at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 24 N. Second St, New Freedom, PA 17349.
