Louise L. Fair, 91, of Shrewsbury, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023. Born in York, PA, she was the daughter to the late Lester M. and Sara A. (Bailey) Kinard. Louise was the loving wife to Jerome M. Fair until he passed in 2017.
Louise was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church Hametown 50-year club and altar guild. She also helped with the quilters, and at ham suppers for the church. Louise loved to cook and feed people. She was an avid baker and enjoyed crochet. She loved to travel with her husband.
Louise is survived by 3 children, Steven J. Fair and wife Linda, Sherry K. Fair, and Sheila L. Fair; 4 grandchildren, Andy, Kevin, Mark, Katie; and 3 siblings Evelyn “Patsy”, Janice, and Lorraine. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 4 sisters, in addition to her parents and husband.
A public viewing will be held at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA 17349 Monday, April 10 from 7-8pm. A second viewing will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Church Hametown, 11894 Susquehanna Trail S., Glen Rock, PA 17327 on Tuesday, April 11 from 10-11am. The funeral service will begin at 11am Tuesday, April 11. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
