Marcella Kwoka

Marcella “Marcie” Kwoka, 91, of Shrewsbury passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at SpiriTrust Lutheran-Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late James J. Kwoka. Born in Ravenwood, MO she was the daughter of the late Francis and Veronica (Guenther) Meyer. Marcie was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, travel and dancing. She enjoyed the company of her friends and the staff of SpiriTrust where she lived for the past several years. Marcie was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and worked for several years as a secretary with Black & Decker. She is survived by her four children Ronald J. Kwoka and wife Dr. Nancy E. Jordan of Memphis, TN, Mary Louise, wife of Michael J. Hare of Shrewsbury, Paul G. Kwoka and wife Darlene G. Goeller of Baltimore, MD and Robert A. Kwoka and wife Stacie of Landenberg, PA; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Marcie was preceded in death by a son Michael J. Kwoka and five brothers. Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10:30AM from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave. New Freedom with Rev. Robert A. Yohe, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will be held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Baltimore, MD. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 7-9PM from Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St. New Freedom.
