Margaret A. Bollinger

Margaret A. Bollinger, 97, of Dover, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (Grempler) Walker. She was the beloved wife of 70 years to the late Austin Bollinger, who passed in February of 2024.

Margaret retired from Shrewsbury Sewing Factory after 5 years of service with them. She also previously worked for Charles Summers, Jr. She loved to square dance, watch NASCAR and enjoyed Wehrly’s Auction.

Margaret is survived by many nieces and nephews, Larry, Bobby, Dorothy, Darleen, Melvin, Donna, Glenn, Roselle, Cindy, Charles, and Joanne. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A public viewing will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 10-11am at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA 17349. A funeral Service will be at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.
