Margaret L. Ibex

Margaret L. Ibex, 81, passed away in her sleep on the morning of Thursday, January 14, 2021 at York Hospital.Born on April 25, 1939 in Rowlesburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Calvin and Dolly Loughry. She served as an administrative secretary for Baltimore County Public Schools and retired after 35 years.Margaret enjoyed being surrounded by family, and leaves five children, Donald Myers Jr., Susan Poole, Dawn Grieb, Sherrie White, and David Myers; thirteen grandchildren, John, Rachael, Dana, Brandy, Katie, Anthony, Christopher, Derek, Dustin, Tyler, Zachary, Michael, Sara; and eleven great grandchildren, Jake, Casey, Christopher, Jacob, Ian, Ethan, Landon, Shania, Darius, Anika, and Magnolia. She is proceeded by Donald Myers Sr., William Ibex, and Charles Ray Myers. She will be remembered as a hardworking mother, caring grandmother, joyful great-grandmother, and loving friend to many.Margaret was also known for her laughter and jokes, making sure everyone around her had a “happy-happy time”. Due to COVID-19 conditions, the burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in her memory to be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation (https://www.parkinson.org).
