Margaret (Bachman) Sullivan, 87, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Leo J. “Jim” Sullivan, Jr. A visitation will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, November 28 at St. John the Evangelist, 13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 am at the church. Inurnment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Born February 21, 1928 in Harford County, Peg was the daughter of the late Harold and Elva (Roach) Bachman. She was employed by Harford County Public Schools as a secretary and library aide before her retirement. She was vocally trained at the Peabody Institute, Baltimore, and was a member of Harford County Choral Society for many years. She was a life-long member of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, Fallston, where she was also a member of their choir. Peg enjoyed bowling, cards, games, reading and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren rotten. She is survived by her children, Kathy Ward and her husband, Tom, Patricia Sullivan, Leo J. “Sully” Sullivan and his wife, Connie, Steve Sullivan and his wife, Debbie, Maggie Klein and her husband, Doug, and Tom Sullivan and his wife, Melissa McDade; grandchildren, Sam Sheets, Toni Choquette and her husband, Keith, Dawn Heinbaugh and her husband, Brian, Tom Ward and his wife, Heather, Shannon Sullivan and her husband, Aaron Harrington, Kate Sullivan and her husband, Kyle Bourdon, Suzanne Sullivan and her boyfriend, Joe Richardson, and James and Patrick Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashley, Aidan, Collin, Cassie, Charlie and Cooper; and a sister, Mary Daniels and her husband, David. Peg is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Please, no flowers.
