Marie Lillian Fiore

Marie Lillian Fiore, 92, passed from this life on Saturday, January 11, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Angelo Anthony Fiore who passed in 2005. Born in Alexandria, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Edward Malle Sr. and Catherine (Gunner) Malle.

Marie Malle grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. There she met Angelo Fiore in the neighborhood. They were married after he returned from the Korean War on May 31, 1953. In 1965 they moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Besides retail sales, Marie worked alongside of Angelo as an accounting assistant for Sid Harvey’s, Heating and Air Conditioning Co.

Marie was fiercely independent. She did not consider remarrying. She liked traveling, shopping, walking the beach, gardening, and collecting antiques. She was also a breast cancer survivor.

Surviving is one daughter, Deborah Fiore Niblock; and a brother, Harry Edward Malle Jr. and his wife, Barbara Joanne Malle; two nephews, Harry E. Malle III and his wife, Chrissy Malle, also Eric J. Malle and his wife, Bridget Malle; and a niece, Erin M. Malle and husband David Hoosier. Marie is also survived by six great nieces; Brooke M. Bledsoe, Julia L. Malle, Olivia K. Malle, Gwen M. Malle, Ava M. Hoosier, Layla M. Hoosier; and one great nephew, Anthony Malle. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Malle.
