Marie Anna Sorrentino

Marie Anna Sorrentino, 81 of Freeland, Maryland went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 17th, 2018 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD surrounded my her loving family. Born December 12th, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the Daughter of the late Philip Martinez and Anna DeBald Martinez. She was a 1954 graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame Preparatory High School. She retired from Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company in Timonium where she worked for 30+ years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She is survived by her Husband; Joseph Angelo Sorrentino, Daughters; Deborah Sorrentino, Nancie McCadden and Lisa Sorrentino-Miller and Husband Joel Miller, Grandchildren; Emily Wriston, Hunter McCadden, Madison McCadden, Caitlin McCadden, Joseph Miller, Joshua Miller and Annamarie Miller. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her Granddaughter; Autumn Marie Sorrentino. Family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 25th, at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom.A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 1:00pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave, New Freedom, PA17349.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Rev. Benjamin J. Dunkelberger will officiate.
