Marjorie M. Robinson

Marjorie M. (Utt) Robinson, 92, formerly of New Freedom, passed away on March 26, 2021. Marjorie was born in Dunmore, PA, a daughter of the late William W. and Mabel B. (Rickert) Utt. She was married for 58 years to the late Dr. Richard F. Robinson, who passed away in 2012. Marjorie worked as office manager and bookkeeper for her husband’s General Practice in New Freedom. She was a member of Bon Air Country Club where she played in the Women’s Golf League for many years, and even achieved a hole-in-one! She was part of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 7012, and enjoyed bowling, reading, playing piano, and traveling. Her loving and generous spirit was known to all who met her. Marjorie’s memory will be cherished by her two daughters, Gail R. Myers and husband Jeffrey, and Holly R. Buisson and husband Eric, as well as by her two grandsons Nicholas and Lucas Myers, and her eight nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers and a sister. A viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 175 E. Main St., New Freedom, PA, with a Funeral Service to follow beginning at 12:00 pm.
