Mary Alice Badders

Mary Alice Badders, 80, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021. Born in Railroad, she was the daughter of the late Guy L. and Evelyn P. (Hutchins) Fuhrman. She had worked as a bar maid at the Starting Gate Inn, Jacksonville, Md., then later she was a Tupperware Consultant/Manager. She was also employed at the Shipley (Crown) Station as a cashier as well as Tom’s in Shrewsbury. She was a member of the SYNCC Club and the Red Lion American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are three children, Vincent L. Badders, and his husband, Brent, Kimberly Keene and her husband, Patrick, and Victor L. Badders and his life partner, Elaina Forthman; 2 grandchildren, Andrew Sheeler Jr. and his wife, Randi, and Naomi Badders and her life partner, Bri Trent; 1 great grandchild, Mila M. Badders; and a brother, Arthur Fuhrman. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Fuhrman. There will be a service celebrating her life on January 8, 2022, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349.
