Mary Patricia Bauer

Mary Patricia Bauer, 69, of Stewartstown, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022. She was the wife of Robert Francis Bauer of Stewartstown with whom she celebrated 39 years of marriage on October 1st.

Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Catherine Patricia (Cunningham) Weiner and the late Ronald William Weiner.

Mary graduated from Parkville Senior High School; Class of 1970. She worked in the central office as a Technician for Verizon for 33 years prior to retiring. She enjoyed cross stitch, gardening, card games, and family game nights.

In addition to her husband Robert and mother Catherine, she is survived by her three sisters, Jean M. Harlan and her husband Bruce, Kathleen D. Garcia and her husband Joel, and Theresa A. Johnson, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Anne Ruchka and her husband Dan.

There will be a visitation from 2- 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 28 ^th at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363. A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 29 ^th at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church; 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, PA 17349 with Rev. Mark T. Wilke officiating. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
