Mary I. Gemmill

Mary I. Gemmill, 94, of Parkton, MD passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Rest Haven in York. She was the wife of George H. Gemmill, II with whom she was married 62 years. Born in Stewartstown, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Minnie (Morris) Winemiller. Mary worked as a seamstress and enjoyed canning, word search and cross word puzzles and listening to Elvis and Fats Domino music. She was very religious and was a member of West Liberty United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by three children George R. Gemmill and wife Karen, Mary Beth Gemmill and Mark Gemmill; two grandchildren Michael and Tim Hutcheson. Mary was preceded in death by eight brothers and two sisters. Private services will be held at the convenience of her family.
