Mary Elizabeth Jenkins (Lovas)

On July 4, 2016, Mary E. (Lovas) Jenkins, 94, formerly of Baltimore, Md., died at York Hospital. All services are private. Mary was born August 27, 1921, in Vanderbilt, Pa. to the late Mary (Friedman) and George B. Lovas, Sr. She was the wife of the late Thomas L. Jenkins. She is survived by one brother, George Lovas, Jr. and his wife Susana; one sister, Suzanne Paterra; one step-daughter, Holly Houseworth; four step-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one step-child, Valerie Gwinnutt; and one sister, Irene Ritzell. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name are recommended to a charity of your choice.
