Mary A. Salemi

Mary A. Salemi, 95, of Stewartstown passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at home. She was the loving wife of the late Vincent J. Salemi to whom she was married 73 years at the time of his death in 2018. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Margaret (Morewood) Staats. Mary is survived by a son Edward and his wife Maureen and a daughter Patricia; grandchildren Kathleen, Anthony, Michael and wife Jennifer, Suzanne and DJ and wife Rachel; great-grandchildren Matthew, Jonah, Ava, Emma. Funeral Liturgy will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11AM from St. John the Baptist Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salesian Missions, 2 Lefevre Lane, P.O. Box 30, New Rochelle, NY 10802-0030, or to St. John the Baptist Church at the above listed address.
