Mary Carolyn Zivkovich

Mary Carolyn Zivkovich, 80, formerly of Middle River, MD and Stewartstown, PA, died at York South Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on May 18, 2024.  Mary was a member of Stewartstown United Methodist Church.

Born on September 9, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Frances McGreevy Zivkovich and Anthony Zivkovich, and the step-daughter of Helen E. Zivkovich who lovingly raised her.  Mary is survived by brothers Anthony John Zivkovich and Mark Allan Zivkovich, nephew Anthony John Zivkovich Jr., and niece Deborah May Giro.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Rody John Zivkovich.

Mary graduated from Mervo Vocational-Technical High School and continued her education for a career in nursing.  It was then that she met her two best friends, Mary Lee Eaton and Frances Neuheimer, who have both predeceased her. The Eaton family loved Mary like their own, and she leaves behind her “adopted family”, Ed & Wendy Eaton, Aaron Eaton and family, and Amy Eaton Van Kleunen and family.

Mary’s passion for nursing continued, and she received her COHN-S CCM.  She retired from Proctor & Gamble in 2003 as an Occupational Health Nurse Case Manager.

A private service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
