Matilda Elizabeth Schneider

Matilda Elizabeth (Fabula) Schneider, 88, of Glen Rock passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Karl F. Schneider who passed away in 2011. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Andrew and Wanda Viola (Biernacki) Fabula. Matilda worked as a secretary at Montgomery Ward and then as a crossing guard. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a member of the EdelweissClub. She enjoyed playing Bingo, listening to music and dancing. She also loved spending time with family and friends. Matilda leaves to cherish her memory four children, Melinda E. O’ Neil and her husband Gary, Ann Marie Cole and her husband Randy, Gregory A. Schneider and his companion Fran, and Pamela F. Schneider and her companion John; four grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, David and his wife Mandy and their daughter Fae, Sarah and her husband Tony and their children Mariah, Derrick, and Gabriella, Andrew and his wife Ana and their children Hallie and Jeremy, andMatthew and his wife Stephanie and their children Octavian and Magdalin; five siblings Mary Cooper, John Fabula, Sylvester Fabula, Albert Fabula and Edward Fabula. She was preceded in death by her three brothers Joseph Fabula, Carroll Fabula and Richard Fabula. A private graveside service will take place this week. Unfortunately, due to health concerns with the coronavirus (COVID-19), the family will be postponing celebration of life service until a later date. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. in New Freedom, PA is assisting the family with her wishes.
