Melvin Shelton

Melvin Shelton, 79, of Stewartstown, passed away at Wellspan York Hospital on Saturday November 28, 2020. He was the loving husband to Arlene (Trykowski) Shelton with whom have celebrated over 54 years of marriage together. Melvin was born in 1941 to Melvin Shelton and Mildred (Clarkson) in Washington, D.C.. Melvin enjoyed dancing, watching the Washington Redskins and playing recreation football with his brother Ed and brother in law Eddie. He also enjoyed playing video games and watching movies every evening with his wife. In addition to his wife Arlene, Shelton is survived by his 4 children Anthony Shelton and his wife Stephanie, Michael Shelton and his wife Jennifer, Daniel Shelton and his wife April, and Jennifer Fiorenza and her husband Andrew; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; a brother Edward Shelton; and half siblings Pat, Gloria, and Boyd. Melvin is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary. Services for Melvin will be private and at the convenience of the family.
