Mervin E. "Bud" Openshaw

On Sat., Oct. 24, 2015, Mervin E. "Bud" Openshaw of White Hall. Husband of Mary E. (Thomas) Openshaw, father of Marvin E. Openshaw and his wife, Gloria of Monkton and Linda Lou Wells and her husband, Jack of Wytheville, VA; and caregiver and granddaughter, Amy Blymire and her husband, Bill, of White Hall. Also survived by seven addition grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Ernest Elwood and Ronnie Dale Openshaw. Bud enjoyed fishing, cutting wood, and hunting. A viewing will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 North Second Street, New Freedom, PA 17349. A funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 am at the mortuary. Interment to follow in Wiseburg Cemetery, 810 Wiseburg Rd., White Hall. J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., New Freedom, PA is assisting the family with arrangements.
