Michael Frederick Mcgowan

Michael “Mickey” Frederick McGowan, of Stewartstown, PA, passed away on September 5, 2022. He was born on May 1st, 1941 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Charles F. & Onelee T. (Hudkins) McGowan. Mickey was the loving husband of 61 years to Bonnie L. (Smith) McGowan. Mickey graduated from Washington Irving High School in Clarksburg, WV. After his graduation, he worked as a Salesman for Lorillard Tobacco Company. Mickey was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of Sunny Croft Golf Course, where he was an avid golfer. Mickey enjoyed Little League Baseball, but above all else, loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mickey is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. (Smith) McGowan; his 2 sons, Greg McGowan and his wife, Kathy, of Stewartstown, PA, and Michael McGowan and his husband, Steven Lutvak of New York, NY; his 4 granddaughters, Whitnee Wheatley and her husband, Alec, of Lancaster, PA, Madison McGowan and her fiancée, Michael Hallman, of Gatesville, TX, Camryn McGowan of Glen Rock, PA, and Eliot Rose Lutvak-McGowan of New York, NY; 3 great-grandchildren, Hayden, Jamison, and Arya Wheatley of Lancaster, PA. A public graveside service will be held on Monday, September, 12th at 10:00 am in the Stewartstown Cemetery, Cemetery Ave, Stewartstown, PA, 17363.
