Michael 'Mike' G. Day

Michael ‘Mike’ G. Day, 81, of White Hall, MD, passed from this life on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023. He was the loving husband of Mary E. (Smithson) Day who passed in 2002. Born in Balt., MD, Mike was the son of the late D. Gentry and Kathleen (Martin) Day.

Mike was 1960 graduate of Kennard -Dale High School. He was also a lifelong member of Baltimore Carpenters Local Union #101, Jarrettsville Lions Club, and St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Pylesville, MD. His passions included anything related to John Deere tractors, Blue Grass Festivals, and participating in anything related to his grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, James Day and his spouse, Julie, and Kevin Day and his spouse, Kelly; 4 grandchildren, Noah, Morgan, Emma, and Maddie; and two sisters, Stella Raffensburger and her spouse, Vern, and Patricia Tolley. Mike was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Day.

There will be a visitation from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA with a memorial service starting at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow in St. Paul U.M. Church Cemetery, Pylesville, MD.
