Michelle Lee Greaver

d. November 17, 2022

Michelle Lee Greaver, 31, passed from this life on Thursday, November 17, 2022.  She was the precious daughter of Scott and Melanie Greaver of Stewartstown.

Michelle was an avid environmentalist, regularly supporting several charities including 4Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. From her earliest days, she loved and protected all animal and plant life, to a degree that many would consider unreasonable. As a demonstration of this, she had a bug vacuum she would use to save the bugs from her apartment and place them safely outside. Some of her favorite animals included bees, fish, turtles, crabs, and other marine life. Beyond her passion for wildlife and the environment, Michelle was a world traveler. Some of her favorite destinations included Jamaica, Italy, Greece, Turkey, California, New England, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

She often traveled with her brothers, cousins, & friends, and she loved exploring new places. Much to her parents’ dismay, Michelle loved bungie jumping. She loved thrills and adventures. With a birthday the day before Halloween, Michelle loved scary movies, scary costumes, and all the festivities and decorations surrounding Halloween. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and some of her favorite times included attending Baltimore Ravens games, going out on the boat and crabbing, and meeting up with her brothers at Silver Spring Mining Co. She loved music, especially Tom Petty. Her favorite song was Wildflowers. Her celebrity crushes were Johnny Depp (only as a dirty pirate) and Jason Momoa (primarily as Khal Drogo).

Other major interests of hers included hiking, cooking, comedy, reading, coffee, and trying new foods. She was a deep thinker, extraordinarily intelligent, and a brightness in so many lives. She loved helping others and went out of her way to put others above self. She could effortlessly make a room full of people laugh until they cried.

Surviving in addition to her adoring parents are two beloved brothers, Marshall Greaver and his partner, Alexandra Leach of Glen Arm, MD, and Albert Greaver and his spouse, Serena Greaver of Shrewsbury; paternal grandparents, Tony and Lee Dondalski of Freeland, MD; and maternal grandmother, Kathryn Becker of Parkville, MD. Countless others knew and loved Michelle dearly.
