Michelle Lynn Sweitzer

Michelle Lynn Sweitzer, 52, passed away on Wednesday, March 2nd. Michelle was born on July 2, 1969, in York, PA to Harry A. and Bonnie S. (Markel) Wolf. She was the loving wife of 25 years to Timothy L. Sweitzer. Michelle worked for the last 32 years as an office manager for Hanover Concrete Company and was an integral part of their team.She was a social member of the Glen Rock Fire Hall, acting as a secretary and assisting with many fund raisers at the fire house. Michelle loved reading, camping with friends, enjoying the outdoors, family vacations and rooting for all of the Pittsburgh sports teams. Along with her husband, Tim, Michelle is survived by her only child, Amber L. Sweitzer and her partner, Tom Clasing; loving parents, Harry and Bonnie Wolf; adoring nieces, Karah, Emily and Lindsey Sweitzer; and many dear cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. A viewing will be held at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA. 17349 on Wednesday, March 9th, from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 10th, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow in Bowser’s Cemetery, Bowers School House Rd., New Freedom, PA 17349.
