Mildred E. "Millie" (Gill) Sharrett

Mildred E. “Millie” (Gill) Sharrett, 95, passed away September 22, 2018, at her home in Stewartstown, PA. She was predeceased by her husband Baltimore neurosurgeon John O. Sharrett, and her two siblings Walter Gill and Velma Gill Coffman. She was the former manager of L'Hirondelle Club in Ruxton and bookkeeper for Radebaugh Florist in Towson. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the eldest daughter of the late Noah and Ethel (Yingling) Gill of Glyndon. She loved to entertain and was an avid golfer. She is survived by three sons and a daughter: James F. Dawson, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, Franklin G. Dawson and his wife Theresa, Elizabeth Boyce and her husband Benjamin, and George Sharrett; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and one on the way. Millie touched the hearts of everyone that knew her and she will be dearly missed. There will be a Memorial Service at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second Street, New Freedom. The family will receive condolences from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of her family.
