Mildred Virginia Hill

Mildred Virginia Hill, formerly of White Hall, MD, passed away on March 31, 2022 in Athens, Alabama. She was the loving wife of 62 years to the late Robert Mack Hill. Mildred was born on March 28, 1935 in Parkton, Maryland to the late Walter A. and Lucia Rose Cornett. Mildred was the mother of 5 children, whom she lovingly stayed home to raise. Her job as a homemaker was so much more than that. She was the family caretaker, scheduler, planner, chef and housekeeper. She loved her children and family above all else. She was a grandmother to four and also blessed with three great grandchildren. She was an avid tennis fan, enjoyed puzzles of all kinds, good food and time with family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Mildred is survived by her loving children, Stephen B. Hill of Delta, PA, Charles A. Hill (Debbie) of Felton, PA, Roberta H. Wisotzkey (Jeffrey) of Athens, AL and John A. Hill (Sherry) of Felton, PA, dear siblings, Kyle E. Cornett, Stuart W. Cornett, Jerry W. Cornett, and Linda S. Simpson; she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mack Hill, an infant son, Michael W. Hill, and brothers, Walter A. Cornett II, BillyE. Cornett, Ronald C. Cornett and a grandson, Daniel O. Hill A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 9th , at 3:00 pm in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 809 Rock Spring Rd., Bel Air, MD 21014. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Heart or American Cancer Associations.
