Nancy Blevins Weaver

Nancy Blevins Weaver, 77, died Sunday, January 10, 2016, at her home. She was the wife of the late Donald E. Weaver. Viewings will be held 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Stewartstown United Methodist Church, 26 S. Main St., Stewartstown. The service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16 at the Church, with Pastor Larry W. Parlett officiating. Nancy was born March 6, 1938, in Stewartstown, a daughter of the late Sanders "Sam" Blevins and the late Ruth (Jones) Blevins. Nancy was a member of Stewartstown United Methodist Church. She also was a board member of the Stewartstown Senior Center and a volunteer. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 52 years. Nancy was an LPN at York Hospital during the 1960s and was employed as an LPN with Shrewsbury Family Practice for over 20 years. She also was formerly employed with the Shrewsbury Lutheran Home. She had a great love of her family, enjoyed playing piano and painting.Surviving her are a daughter, Kerry Marc and husband Anthony of Airville; three sons, Rocky Weaver and wife Debbie of Perry Hall, Md., Randy Weaver and wife Lynn of Stewartstown, and Robby Weaver of Stewarstown; grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Jennifer, Jessica, Lauren, Kaitlin and Taylor Weaver and Sarah Spencer; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Ball, Mackenzie and Allycia Weaver, R. J. Weaver-Fleetwood and Howard Craig V; two brothers, Norman Blevins of Fort Myers, Fla.. and Dean Blevins and wife Beulah of York; one sister, Kathleen King and husband Gary of Reading.
