Naomi Doris August

Naomi Doris August, passed away peacefully at home, on November 30th, at the age of 95.She was born on May 19, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Lorenzo Beacham and Joanna (Makowski) Beacham Cicchetti. Naomi was preceded in death by her former husband, Albert A. August. Naomi obtained her nursing degree, working for St. Joseph’s Hospital and Harbor Hospital both located in Baltimore.Naomi attended St. Alphonsus Church in Baltimore, and her greatest interests in life were spending time with her beloved family and dear friends, attending her church, and practicing her deep faith by helping others. Naomi is survived by her loving daughters, RuthAnn M. Guertin and Paula L. Tilley; son in law: Larry Guertin; her dear grandchildren: Stephen Tilley, Elizabeth Mason, Kathleen Janouris, Lauren Cameron, Adrienne Murrow, and Sean Tilley; her 13 great grandchildren; her siblings: Ray V. Beacham and Joanna Hager; nieces: Diana Greensfelder (her Godchild), Mary Jane Meckley, and Dorothy Sargen;; she was preceded in death by her sisters, Audrey L. Terrell and Mollie Ann Golden, and her niece, Josephine Rust.Naomi was loved by many and will be missed by all. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 from 9:00 am- 10:30 am at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Cares, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349. A funeral mass will start at 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N.
