Neil T. Klinedinst, 66, passed from this life on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He was the beloved son of the late Donald R. and Charlotte R. (Shearer) Klinedinst.
Neil was the greatest sports fan. For most of his life, he attended every athletic event at Susquehannock High School and was an ultimate supporter of each athlete who wore a Susquehannock or Glen Rock baseball uniform. The support was unconditional as he greeted athletes and fans with a smile and heartfelt kind words - then followed by sharing the athlete’s number and statistics with his infectious smile and laughter. The affection was two ways as he was appreciated and loved by the athletes and fans. In 2010, Neil was awarded the Susquehannock High School Alumni Spirit Award, which is presented each year to an individual who exemplifies outstanding school spirit for an extended period of time. He was a member of Rose Fire Company for over 51 years. Neil was gentle, loyal, and kindhearted.
Surviving are three siblings, Gregory Klinedinst and his wife, Deborah of York, Vickie Whitacre of New Freedom, and Denise Bailey of Loganville.
