Nina Lynn (Hall) Paules, 54, graduated to Heaven on August 9, 2021. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 29, 1966 to Robyn Lynn (Weaver) Hall and the late William Thomas Hall, Sr. Nina’s memory will be forever cherished by her husband of nearly 35 years, Brian W. Paules; daughter, Anna M. Paules and Anna's fiancé, Julio Aguilar. She leaves behind eight siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, her adoring German Shepherd, Ziva, along with many other family members and close friends. She had a great passion for introducing people of all ages to Jesus Christ. She often recounted her past service in Shockwave at Grace Fellowship Church in Timonium. For several years her home hosted a group of students from the local community for Bible study and games. She volunteered at River Valley Ranch, a Christian youth camp in Millers, MD, where she helped with weekend horse rides. Nina was quick to sow into anything that brought people to the saving knowledge of Jesus. She supported numerous Christian evangelists and organizations that carry the gospel around the world. In addition, she was quick to meet the spiritual and practical needs of individuals close to home. The door of her home was always open to those needing a "port in the storm". If someone needed help, she never hesitated to make room and give accommodation. Her kindness and generosity reached beyond people to dogs as well. She opened her home and heart to numerous Seeing Eye puppies, both short and long term. She supported organizations such as Double Dog Dare Rescue and Animal Rescue. She loved and cherished many dogs of her own. She loved a bargain and relished a good auction, especially a box lot auction where she would spend hours sifting through her purchased lots, culling out prized and useful items. Many of these items adorned her home and office, others were given away where they found new purpose. Nina loved dolls, books, and historical items. Her living and working spaces are filled with her prized (rescued) dolls and is decorated with old items she repurposed for modern use; every item has a story. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she enjoyed decorating. One year she had six Christmas trees in the house, all prepared for the delight of her many nieces and nephews. You could take Nina to a fine restaurant, but she always wanted the same thing, a good hamburger with a side of onion rings. Her idea of a treat was a Wendy's Frosty, sometimes with french fries. She loved chocolate. Nina always wanted to support local farmers. She purchased milk, eggs, and meat from a local farm and could often be found visiting the local Amish market. In the last decade of life, Nina along with her husband, Brian, built a publishing business with two imprints, ePublishing Works! and Rise UP Publications. She also developed a promotion entity called eBook Discovery. She had a gift for giving life to an author's work and helped many authors achieve meaningful income from their efforts. The publishing business she helped build remains a legacy. Nina valued the teaching and worship at Legacy Faith Church where "no one will take her place." She held Pastor Philip Thornton in high esteem along with her fellow worshipers. It was here that she discovered the true power of prayer and worship. In her waning moments of life, she smiled and said she heard "joy." She understood the value of laying up treasure in heaven. She held many titles in life; Mother, Wife, Daughter, Aunt, Friend, Grammy (to the dogs), but the title she wore most proudly was "Servant of the Most High God." Now, her long-fought battle with pain is over. She runs and does not grow weary, walks and does not grow faint, the strength of her youth is renewed, and by the stripes of Jesus, she is made whole. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 4th at Legacy Faith Church; 104 Roberts Valley Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17110 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Nina's favorite foods will be served following the time of celebration. Everyone is welcome. Visit www.legacyfaithchurch.org for more information.
