Nora E. Dorsey

Nora E. Dorsey, 106, of Shrewsbury passed away Saturday August 11, 2018 at SpiriTrust Lutheran-Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late Frank Dorsey. Born in N. Hopewell Twp. She was a daughter of the late C.D. Wilbur and Emma Belle (McClain) Miller. Nora was a seamstress and worked at the former South Pine Nightwear in York retiring in 1978 after 20 years of service and also worked at the former W.C Anstine Sewing Factory in Railroad. She was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Shrewsbury, Stewartstown Senior Center, Happy Seniors at Christ Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company. Nora is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Frances Mae Winemiller, Annie Geesey, Mildred Murphy and brother Ralph Miller. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11AM from Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc, 24 N. Second St. New Freedom. Interment will follow in Mt. Rose Cemetery, York. A viewing will be held from 10-11AM at the funeral home.
