Norma G. Baker, 93, of Glen Rock, passed away unexpectedly and was promoted to Heaven on Friday, December 20, 2024. She would have celebrated her 94th birthday on December 28th. Norma was the wife of Kenneth Baker, to whom she was married for 50 years.
Norma was born on December 28th, 1930 to the late Arthur & Abigail Newcomer. She held many roles over the years, working at AMP and as a real estate agent. However, most importantly she was a great mother and terrific grandmother. She was adored by her family. She loved the Lord, and was a dedicated member of Grace Church Shrewsbury. She enjoyed spending time with her family, had impeccable taste, and curated beautiful traditions for her family to carry on for years to come.
She is survived by her children, Steven Koller and his wife, Sherrie, Deborah Koller, Michael Koller and Allison, and Stacie Lippy; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Baker, her son, Randy Koller, stepson, Steve Baker, her parents, Abbie Grey Bales Newcomer and Arthur Q. Newcomer, and two siblings, Robert R. Blevins and Elizabeth Dziewit.
There will be a visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. Friday, December 27, at Grace Church Shrewsbury, 473 Plank Road, New Freedom, PA 17349 with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will immediately follow the service at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
