Norma E. Boone, 85, of Freeland, MD passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Earl D. Boone who passed away in 2004. Born in Pontiac, MI she was the daughter of the late David and Edna M. (Brown) Lagoo. Norma was a member of Oakland Church in Freeland for over 50 years and was the church organist for over 40 years. She is survived by her five children Douglas Boone of Freeland, Beverly, wife of Jack “Wally” Spicer of Waynesboro, Michelle, wife of James Adamski of Freeland, Marilyn, wife of Melvin Poe of White Hall and Della D’Amore and her partner John of Shrewsbury; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by a grandson Kenneth Leininger and a brother David Lagoo. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 12PM from Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E. Padonia Rd., Timonium, MD 21093 with Pastor Kim Erdman officiating. A viewing will be held for Norma at the Oakland Church Pavilion, 1415 Oakland Rd., Freeland, MD 21053 that morning from 9-11AM.
