Norma Jean Hiller

Norma Jean Hiller, 78, of New Park passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. She was the wife of Roy E. Hiller, III to whom she was married 48 years. Born in Pittsburgh she was the daughter of the late Martin R. and Dorothy M. (Henne) Anderson. Norma worked as a librarian at the Mason-Dixon Public Library until her retirement in 2014. She continued to be an active volunteer at the library and served as the treasurer of the Friends of the Mason-Dixon Public Library. Norma enjoyed gardening, crafts and playing cards and board games with her family and friends. Norma was a member of Stewartstown Baptist Church, where she was a beloved member of the JOY Sunday School Class. She had a great sense of humor and was an avid reader. In addition to her husband Roy, she is survived by three children, Robert Hiller and wife Shari of Gibsonia, PA, Amy, wife of Richard Underwood of Helendale, CA and Melissa, wife of Michael Kisamore of Stewartstown; nine grandchildren Kelly Kraus, Pat Sbaffoni, Zachary Marfin, Joshua Marfin, Jacob Marfin, Christina Moore, Steven Kisamore, Jared Gouge and Abigail Kisamore; two great-grandchildren Isaac and Aubrey Kraus. Memorial services will be begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Stewartstown Baptist Church, 18631 Five Forks Rd. Stewartstown. Interment will be held at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Mason-Dixon Public Library, 250 Bailey Dr., Stewartstown, PA 17363 in her memory.
