Norman W. Wynne

Norman William Wynne, 83, passed from this life on Saturday, February 8, 2025. He was the loving husband of Mary E. (Motto) Wynne and they were married for over 60 years. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Elton L. and Virginia (Burton) Wynne. Norman worked in finance at Westinghouse for 35 years and was a proud veteran of the Army National Guard where he served 6 years of duty. He loved to go camping, enjoyed woodworking in his free time, and loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 children, Michael Wynne and his wife, Paula, and Kenneth Wynne and his wife, Jen; 5 grandchildren, Eric Wynne and his wife, Jenny, Abby Wynne, Nate Wynne, Gabriella Wynne, and Juliana Wynne. He was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Rooney.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a public viewing from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 14, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. 2nd St, New Freedom, PA 17349. There will be a funeral service at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 15. Interment will be in the New Freedom Cemetery immediately following the service. HartensteinCares.com.
