Patricia Ann Budzynski

Patricia Ann Budzynski passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She was the loving wife of over 53 years to Gerard J. Budzynski. She was born on November 18, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Henry F. and Martha (Cichowicz) Machlinski. Patricia graduated from Seton High School and went on to obtain her Bachelors of Arts in Education from Cabrini College. Patricia was a member of the congregation of Sisters of Saints Cyril & Methodius in Danville, PA. She was an active congregant of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church as a cantor and member of the liturgy committee. She enjoyed cross-stitching, gardening, and traveling across the globe. Pat had a love of animals, especially cats, and was an avid collector of baskets, bears, and snowmen. In her spare time she was a diehard fan of the Baltimore Orioles. Along with her husband, Gerard, she is survived by her loving children, Gerard Budzynski (Christina), Christopher Budzynski (Amy) and Eric Budzynski (Lance Larsen); dear grandchildren, Nicholas, Will, Andrew and Jordyn Budzynski.Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Robert Machlinski. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, January 11th, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349 with a prayer service beginning at 10:15 a.m. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church,315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, PA 17349. Interment will immediately follow at the church cemetery.
