Patricia M. Wells

Patricia “Pat,” “Patsy” Marlene (McCauley) Wells, 85, of York passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was born in New Freedom, on September 19, 1936. She was a member of Seven Mountain Blue Grass Association and had a passion for caring for animals. Pat was a wonderful mother and grandmother; she is survived by her son, James Ray Wells, II, and his wife, Diane of Dover; grandchildren, Dustin M. Wells, Kayla Baldwin and Tyler Leahy; great grandson, Colson Wells; five great grandchildren; and brother, Delano Heyne of York. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Michael and Theresa Elizabeth (Heyne) McCauley, loving husband, James Ray Wells; her two daughters, Pamela Jean Wells and Scarlett S. Castle; and sister, Lavinia Stiffler. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Services are entrusted to Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N.
