Patsy R. Williams (Carpenter)

Patsy Williams, 85, on Friday, October 14, 2016, from injuries sustained in a car accident.She was the loving wife of Donald A. Williams, celebrating 61 years of marriage on October 1, 2016. Patsy was born September 2, 1931, in York, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late George and Mary (Alban) Carpenter. She was a Registered Nurse, most recently with Baltimore County schools. She was an active member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her husband Donald and two daughters, Sheryl Williams of Sparks, Maryland; and Kimberly Layton and her husband Stephen of Charleston, South Carolina. There is a memorial service at 11 am Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 175 E. Main St., New Freedom, PA 17349. The family will receive friends from 10 am to 11 am at the church. Burial will be private.
