Paul E. Ebaugh, 90, of Delta died Sunday, October 3, 2021 at home. He was the loving husband of Sharon (Cooper) Ebaugh to whom he was married 65 years. Born in Stewartstown he was a son of the late W. Everett and E. Romaine (Rogers) Ebaugh. He graduated from Stewartstown High School in 1949 and served in the US Army during Korea. Paul was employed by Godfrey Bros. Meats until he bought his uncle Clifton’s store in Stewartstown in 1977. Paul was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church in Delta since 1960 and was a member of the Stewartstown American Legion. Paul served the Stewartstown community as a volunteer Fire Police at Eureka Fire Company and directed traffic in front of his store, Ebaugh’s Meat Market and Anderson’s Grocery Store. He was fondly known in the neighborhood and appreciated for his sense of humor and practical jokes. Paul was an avid bee keeper and loved playing dominoes and enjoyed bowling at the Delta Senior Center where he was very much at home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children Cheryl Ebaugh, Linda Spahr (Bobby), and Mark Ebaugh (Barb); seven grandchildren Matt, Tom, Josh, Jarah, Emily, Katey and John; four great-grandchildren Jovan, Austin, Grace and Henry; one sister Janice Hodgson. Paul was preceded in death by a brother William (Bill) Ebaugh. Private services will be held for Paul. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Delta Senior Center, 5 Pendyrus St., Delta, PA 17314 or to Wesley Forest United Methodist Church Camp, 58 Wesley Forest Lane, Weikert, PA 17885 in his memory.
