Paul Mazepink, 86, of Stewartstown, PA, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024. He was the loving husband of the late Joanne (Donovan) and his first wife, Louise Mazepink. Born in Leepersville, PA, he was a son to the late Stanley and Anna (Polasz) Mazepink. Paul is remembered by his step-daughter Denise Chapin and Husband James, several nieces and nephews, Shean and Christina Hyson whom he loved and considered family, as well as all of his many, many friends. Paul was an involved member of Round Hill Presbyterian Church. He played many roles in the church including Elder, Deacon, Sunday School teacher as well as singing in the church choir and with Men on the Hill, a men’s gospel quartet. Paul also loved to help in the kitchen when the church would hold gatherings and social events. Paul spent many hours helping the Round Hill Kitchen Crew. When Paul wasn’t helping with the church, you would find him reading his bible, which he read every day. Paul eventually joined Guinston Presbyterian Church in Airville, PA. In his younger years, Paul raised Standard Poodles for obedience training and for showings. Paul spent many years working as a Design Engineer for Boeing and Westinghouse and later enjoyed working as a sound engineer for the American Southern Gold City Gospel quartet. Friends and family are invited to a public visitation from 10 – 11 AM, Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Guinston Presbyterian Church, 14130 Guinston Forge Rd., Airville, PA 17302. A funeral service will start at 11 AM at the church. The York County Veterans Honor Guard will be providing honors to start the service. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363 is assisting with the arrangements. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Round Hill Cemetery, 7362 Church Rd., Felton, PA 17322.
