Paul Andrew Stone

Paul Andrew Stone, 79, of Glen Rock, PA passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at WellSpan York Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Paul was the loving and devoted husband to Lydia D. (Buchheit/Meyers) Stone to whom he was married 15 years. Born in Cleveland, OH on November 28, 1939 to the late Andrew and Ina (Kiviniemi) Stone. Paul worked as a mechanical engineer at Black and Decker and retired after 36 years. Paul had a passion for inventing and a desire to advance technology for the future. Paul was CEO of Paul Stone Industries. He enjoyed cooking, rebuilding cars, golf and travelling. Most of all Paul will be remembered as a loving and compassionate husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a dear friend to all. Paul leaves behind his wife Lydia, his cherished children Eric & Angela Stone, Alec & Linda Stone, Shawn & Shawn Murphy , Jaci (Murphy) & Tim Akre, Chris & Theresa Murphy, Jacob & Jachy Meyers and Samantha Meyers; eleven wonderful grandchildren and six beautiful great-grandchildren; his siblings Walter & Sherrie Stone and Kathy (Stone) & Larrie Malobenski. Paul was preceded in death by his second wife Frances (Murphy) Stone. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of his family.
